Since our inception more than 20 years ago, we have been driven by wanting to further understand the ins and outs of our planet, its sustainability and the role of humans, animals, plants, fungi and other organisms in the maintenance of the natural balance.

Innovation
Hifas Biologics bloomed as a result of several research projects initiated by the R&D Department of its parent company, Hifas da Terra.
Which developed a series of trials for the application of mycotherapy for human health.
These lines of research yielded some magnificent results which were the basis for the assembly of Hifas Biologics.

Hifas Biologics is the drug discovery division of the Hifas da Terra Group. It is a biotechnology company focused on the research and development of antimicrobial drugs, aiming to fight the pathogens of the future. All of them are focused on the search for new drugs that will allow people to have a better quality of life by reducing the polluting aspects of classical drug development processes. We also use renewable energy sources as the main source of power in our facilities.

- Selling and donating more than 60,000 chestnut trees per year.
- Mycorrhizal chestnut forests to recover the rural environment and fight against the proliferation of invasive species.
- Landscape improvement: more than 15Ha, award for the
improvement of the Galician landscape. - Use of crop residues as compostable organic material.
- Use of renewable energies
- More than 60 solar panels installed in the facilities and greenhouses, which reduce >20T of CO2.
- Registration in the CRAEGA: Regulatory Council of Organic Farming over 20 years ago.
- The paper and cardboard used must have the FSC or PEFC certificates.
