Degree in Biomedicine from the University of Keele, also accredited by the Royal Society of Biology and the Institute of Biomedical Sciences in England. Nuno has been named “the best researcher in Spain under 23 years old” in Exporecerca 2019, after winning the first prize thanks to a biological control project against Vespa velutina using a fungus. In addition, she has participated in the creation and development of an early drug discovery platform against diabetes using different plant extracts in her final degree work. She has organized a project called “Cognitive Empowerment in undergraduate students at Keele University” where a series of workshops were held to increase knowledge about medicinal mushrooms, studying their uses and benefits to the lives of these students. He has joined the Biologics team, within the Hihub (the Venture builder) in the Hifas da Terra group in September 2023.
