Founding trustee of the Kaertor Foundation for the discovery of new drugs. Professor of Pharmacology and leader of the pharmacological research group BioFarma at the University of Santiago de Compostela. With an active participation in public and private programs in the field of early drug discovery in Spain and Europe, she has been an investigator in more than ninety research projects, in seventy as principal investigator. She has participated in fifteen drug candidates that have reached clinical trials in patients, within R&D transfer programs with the pharmaceutical industry.
