40 priority research topics will form the basis of the policy-directive-technical guide on antimicrobial resistance in 2030

Antimicrobial resistance in the human health sector is the priority focus of the global research agenda, which is centered on 40 research themes concerning WHO’s priority bacterial and fungal pathogens of critical importance for antimicrobial resistance, as well as drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and with the aim of generating new evidence evidence to inform 2030 policies.
